Year 2010 was very special for Bhojpuria heart throb Pakhi Hegde as she maintained her top position in the popularity charts this year too, consecutively for four years! All her films were successful on box-office and she was awarded as the “Best actress of the year” too in the biggest ever survey done by “The Sunday Indian” and ICMR. She was felicitated by President of Mauritius Anirood Jaganauth who also invited her to Mauritius. She was the only actress who proved successful this year with all the superstars. She did a variety of roles this year, from a college girl to a married lady. A total of 10 films starring her in the lead role were released this year. “Daag” was the biggest block buster of the year, “Saat Saheliya” celebrated 5oth day at many theaters, “Shiva, Aaj ke Karan Arjun, Lofar, Devar Bhabhi” too were successful. “Lahariya Loota Ae Rajaji” too was a hit film this year. Pakhi has also completed her shooting for a Hindi film too this year.
