Major portion of the Bhojpuri film Khela made under the banner of S.P.Arts Creations has been shot in Mahua Patepur and Mirpur under Vaishali and Muzaffarpur districts of Bihar. Remaining portion will be shot next month in Rajpipla of Gujrat.

Khela is not merely a song dance fight sequence but is based on the Naxal violance in which many innocent people loose their lives everytime the Naxals run a carnage. This has happened many times in Bihar.

Ravi Kishan, in the lead role of the film, has depicted a village youth, lover, as well as an army man beautifully in the film The lead actress of the film is Rani Chatterjee who has presented many a captivating dances in the film. Other stars include Rajiv Mishra, Puskar Tiwari, Dr.Abhay Jha, Vijay Kumar, Alok Yadav, Anupama Shri etc. Rajiv Mishra too is in the lead role.

Udit Narayan Jha and Deepa Jha are presenting this film produced by Ashok Verma, The film has been conceptualised by A.K.Prabhakar while screenplay and dialogues are written by S.K.Chauhan. Action director Jeetu Singh, Art director Anjali Tiiwari, and Cinematography is by Narendra Patel.
