King Star of Bhojpuri cinema, Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua is ruling the top slot continuously for the last five years has become synonym with success. Every film of his gets enough love from the viewers. He is also the darling of producers and directors. This year all his five films have proved successful at the box offices. At present he is busy shooting for ‘Ganga Dev’ a film by Deepak Savant, makeup man of Amitabh Bachchan. Present here are the excerpts from the talk we had recently –
First of all about some memories associated with Deewali.
Deewali everyyear is special.It brings light and success in our lives but the the Deewali of year 2006 will always be memorable for me, because on that day I had purchasd my first car, an Inova. I still am thrilled to remember that occasion.
What is the secret behind your being ‘numero uno’ for last five years at a stretch ?
First of all mothers blessings, then elders’ good wishes and youngers’ love and affection. In addition I always try to select the best possible team, good story, and good producers and directors. The best team always do the things diligently and all this is reflected in the success. Further, my films always try to entertain every section of the society. And this too helps.
Your recent home production fiom ‘Aulaad’ was successful at the box offices, despite being a family film. Were you assured about this success ?
I believe thatgood films always come first on viewers choice. “Aulaad”, though a family film, was having complete entertainment for every section of the society and so the viewers made it a success. At many cinemahalls in Bihar and U.P. this film celebrated 5oth day. This film thus proved that if complete entertainment is provided in a family film the film will be a sure success.
Your upcoming film “Bidesia” is also being referred. Something from you ?
‘Bidesia’ is based on the famous dance-drama of Bhikhari Thakur and is produced jointly by Abhay Sinha and Mahuaa Multimedia. It has melody as well as many beautifull scenes. The film is directed by Ranjan Singh, who is a famous director on the small screen. There are two lead actress, Pakhi Hegde and Chavi Pandey, in the film with me.
You are coming with Pawan Singh in ‘Khoon Paseena’ after ‘Pratigya’. Something to add ?
It always feels good to work with Pawan Singh. We are known to each other since our singing days. The film ‘Khoon Paseena’ has superb action scenes and the film is produced by Bollywood producer BalaBhai. We, me and Pawan Singh, will also be seen in ‘Ek Duje Ke Liye’ directed by Anil Ajitabh and produced by Abhay Sinha. The shooting is going on for the film. I hope both these films will be as successful as ‘Pratigya’.
How does it feel to be called King of Bhojpuri cinema ?
This title is given by my fans and it always sounds good. But at the same time it puts the burden of responsility on my shoulders to always prove worthy of viewers expectations ! It always prods me to try more, labor more.
What is going on these days ?
At present I am busy shooting for ‘Ganga Devi’ a film by Deepak Savant, the make up man of Amitabh Bachchan ji. Abhishek Chadda is directing the film and many Bollywood stars will be seen in the film.
Something about your upcoming films.
‘Bidesia’ will come first followed by ‘Khoon Paseena’. I am also working in “Ek Bihari Sau Par Bhari” by Jagdish Verma and also of distributor Rajesh-Pappu, director Aslam Sheikh.
What do you think about the future of Bhojpuri cinema ?
It has a great future ! Viewers are seeing Bhojpuri cinema and showering their love on these.The need of the time is to produce quality films and to provide entertainment to the viewers.
