Bollywood has almost forgotten the tradition of launching of new films but Bhojpuri Cinema industry continues to follow this tradition. Its new films, specially those starring Ravi Kishan, are always launched ceremonially.
Recently a Bhojpuri film Dharma produced by Sunita Bharti under the banner of Saumya Films Pvt. Ltd and presented by Krishna Ji was launched in a grand way at the Renessance Club of Mumbai. Sushil Upadhyay is directing this film made on the story written by Manoj Hansraj. Music is by Madhukar Anand. Ravi Kishan and Rani Chatterjee are the lead stars of the film. This pair was also in the biggest hit of the year film Devra Bada Satavela.
Present on the occasion were famous shayar Sagar Sarhadi, Bharat Sharma Vyas, Rajdeep Singh, ALok Kumar, Uday Shankar, Anand Gahatraj, Harry Fernandes, Bablu Soni, Anil Upadhyay, Iqbal Baksha, Susheel Singh, Vikrant Singh, Rajiv Dinkar, Brijesh Tripathi, Awadhesh Mishra, Prakash Jais, Gopal Ray, Alok Yadav, Som Yadav, Anara Gupta, kalpana Shah, Arti Puri, Krishna Yadav and others.
After the launching Ravi Kishan said that Sushil Upadhyay is working again after a long time and this film too will be hit like his earlier film KanyaDaan . Rani Chatterjee said that as her pair with Ravi Kishan is the hot cake in Bhojpuri film these days, this will benefit Dharma too.
