The respected award of Bhojpuri film world “Bhojpuri Film Award” is going to be held on 14th Oct. 2011. This was stated by the founder chairman of the Award Binod Gupta. And the function will be organised at Goregaon Sports Club as in previous years.
This Award function will be organised by V.R. Multimedia Pvt.Ltd. As this is also the 50th year of Bhojpuri films special preparations are under way to celeberate this occasion.

Last week Bhojpuri stars Pakhi Hegde and Shubhi Sharma came on the stage of “Naach Nachaiya Dhum Machaiya”, a dance reality show of Mahuaa TV. They were there to promote their recently released film “Santaan”. These top Bhojpuri actresses danced and performed on the stage with Ravi Kishan, the anchor and super star of Bhojpuri cinema.
The show started with nine top Bhojpuri actresses but last week Urvashi and her show partner Raaj were eliminited from the show. It will be worth noting who becomes the winner of this show.

Produced under the banner of Parvati Music and Films Company, “Mahima Amvan Ke Sati Mai Ke, the film based on social family traditions and religious rituals is complete now.
The film was shot at Gazipur, Gopalganj, Gorakhpur, Deoria and Bhatni at beautiful locations.
Now the post production work is under progress.

Popular Bhojpuri singer Arvind Akela, better know as Kalua is starting his film acting career with “Kalua Bhaeel Sayan”. This film is produced by Ritesh Kumar Thakur who has earlier produced a block buster film “Tu Hi Mor Balma”.
Dynamic Bhojpuri actor Shubham Tiwari is also in the film as a lead star in this film directed by O.P.Kashyap. Shubham is known for his actions as he was in “Kanoon Humra Mutthi Me” and the viewers had liked his action roles as well as his comedy and romantic scenes.

Villain of double roles
The numero uno villain of Bhojpuri cinema, Sanjay Pandey, is now the first Bhojpuria villain who has done a double role. Sanjay Pandey is in a double role in film “Truck Driver”. Sanjay Pandey is double happy too, as he is performing this feat under the direction of his favorit director Rajkumar Pandey.
Super star Pawan Singh is in the title role in this film.

Recently at the “Purvanchal Samman Samaroh” organised at sector 3 of Dwarika in Delhi, Manoj Tiwari, the Bhojpuri super star and singer, participated and sang patriotic and anti terrorism songs. He also campaigned in the name of Anna Hazare at this function and those present rhymed with him.
Eminent personalities in the field of journalism, singing, politics and social services were honored at this function with “Purvanchal Gaurav” honor. Those thus honored included Nishikant Thakur, Manoj Tiwari, Ajit Dubey (President, Bhojpuri Samaj) and MLAs SCL Gupta and Rameshwar Chaurasiya.
Chief Guest at the function was BJP MP Shahnawaj Hussain. Manoj Tiwari felicitated him with a Shawl. Shahnawaj thanked the organisers and mentioned that Manoj Tiwari is the Amitabh Bachchan of Bhojpuri cinema !

The well known Bhojpuria actress Gunjan Pant has left the dance reality show “Nach Nachaiya Dhum Machaiya” of Mahuaa TV due to personal reasons. Unfortunately, she became ill when the show started and later on she had problems of dates with the shooting of her films. She so decided to opt out of the show and request the producers to reliever her. The producers understood her problem and conceded her request.

Recently at the stage of dance reality show “Nach Nachaiya Dhum Machaiya” Seema Singh performed show well that one of the judges, Kanu Mukherjee, praised her so much that another judge at the show Sudha Chandran objected. She pointed that a judge should not participate any particular participant so extensively that it becomes detrimental to other participants. This lead to acrimonious exchanges between the judges. Seeing all this Seema Singh started weeping and Kanu Mukherjee too become emotional and tear swelled in his eyes too.

The top Bhojpuri actress Rinku Ghosh has given super hit films as a pair with Ravi Kishan in “Bidai” and “Balidan”. This pair is again in “Agni Yuddha” and will soon also be seen in the film “Kehu Hamse Jeet Na Payee” produced by Dr. Wijahat Karim.
“Agni Yuddha” has been directed by Raju Chauhan.

The new villain on the Bhojpuria cinema screen is Ravi Ujjain who started his career with “Jung” produced by Abhay SInha. In this film he worked with super star Pawan Singh. Abhay Sinha was very impressed with his performance and so he repeated Ravi Ujjain in his next film “Insaaf”. In this film Ravi Ujjain is with two super stars of Bhojpuri, Manoj Tiwari and Pawan Singh.
Ravi Ujjain has also starred in “Naihar Ke Mado Piya Ke Chunri”, “Zulmi Sang Ankhiya Ladi” and “Mera Piya Ghar Aya O Ram Ji”. Ravi Ujjain has also worked as an anti-hero in Lawaris directed by Ravi Dev.

The youngest star of Bhojpuri cinema, Pradeep Pandey Chintu is in the role of a cleaner in Bhojpuri film “Truck Driver” where super star Pawan Singh is in the title role. The film is produced and directed by famous Rajkumar Pandey.
There is a love angle of this teenage hero Pradeep Pandey with the newcomer heroine Kajal Raghani.
Pradeep has already worked in many films including Devra Bada Satavela, Lahariya Loota E Raja Ji, Main Nagin Tu Nageena and is very hopefull for Truck Driver.
