It is said that art and artist are not brackated in any particular language or area and this truth has been re-enforced by the evergreen super star Ravi Kishan who is going to be seen in the Marathi movie “Asi Hi Heraferi” of producer Shankar Nikalje. Kavita Kaushik is the paired with Ravi Kishan in the film.
Some days back Ravi Kishan has desired that if he gets an offer he would love to do a Marathi film and Shankar Nikalje has made his desire come true. Made under the banner of “Prapti Films” be Stars of Marathi films, Sanjay Narvekar and Vijay Chahvan are in the lead roles of the film. Shooting will start soon in Lonawala and Khandala under the direction of Rajendra Badhe. Shankar hinted about the story and said that Ravi Kishan comes to Mumbai to become a hero, Kavita Kaushik to become a heroine, and Sanjay Narvekar a director. How comedy enters this group is the theme behind the story. Shankar said that he wanted to do some experiment and that is why he has choosen Ravi Kishan in a lead role. Ravi Kishan speaks Marathi fluently and so no problem is anticipated.
Earlier many Marathi artists like Varsha Ursgaokar, Mohan Joshi, Ashok Saraf, Sadashiv Amrapurkar etc have worked in Bhojpuri films but this is for the first time that a Bhojpuri star is working in a Marathi film.
