Recently Bhojpuri singer and actor Manoj Singh came to Ramlila Maidan to show his solidarity with Anna’s anti-corruption movement. Last Saturday he was present on the dais and sang many patriotic songs to encourage Anna supporters.
Coming on the dais Manoj Tiwari went straight to Anna and touched his feet. He then sang the famous song “Hai Preet Jahan Kee Reet Sada, Mai Geet Waha Ke Gata Hu” and then twisted the song with his artistic liberty to sing on “Anna Ka Chhota Bhai Hu…” which encouraged the supporters who waved the national flag in ecstasy.
Manoj Tiwari also gave an extempore speech and said the supporters wont go back till they are given the Jan Lokpal Bill. He warned the government not to overlook the youth power of the country which is in full force with Anna’s movement.
