Rupa Singh is not only a beautiful woman but also a skilled artist who believes that acting is a religion rather than a way to earn money and name. She started her career as a news reader on Patna TV and then anchored a crime serial “Dastan-E-Jurm”. She followed with acting in TV serials like “Chutki Bhar Senur” and a Maithili serial “Nain Na Tripta Bhayel”. She got famous at state level and Bhojpuri film producers starred her in dozen of films like BA Pass Bahuriya, Dharamveer, Bidai, Sajan Pardesia, Dharti Ke Lal, Laxmi Jaisan Dulhin Hamar, Gori Tera Gaon Bada Pyara, Vivah etc. She also starred a Maithili film “Aapan Gam Aapan Desh”. Rupa Singh came to Mumbai for the first time for the shooting of “Laxmi Jaisan Dulhin Hamar” and faced the Mumbaikar technicians and journos at Essel Studio, Trombay for the first time.
You can enjoy her acting in the TV serial “Jai Jai Shiv Shankar” aired on “Mahuaa TV. Viji of these serial is really busy these days. Rupa Singh has completed three films within four months. These are Papi Ke Pap Kahe Ganga Dhoye, Nandu Nikamma, and, Kalua budhua. She has done a negative role in Papi Ke Pap Kahe Ganga Dhoye which is in contrast to her real self, just opposite of Viji in Jai Jai Shiv Shankar.
