Last week Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, top actress Pakhi Hegde, Shubhi Sharma and Awadhesh Mishra were in Bihar to promote their Bhojpuri film “Santan”. The promotions were a very well attended affairs at all the places and the crowd was restless to have a glimse of theur favorite stars.
Directed by harry Fernandes and produced under the banner of Swaroop Films, “Santan” was released with pomp and show riding on elephants and with lots of followers. Ravi Kishan along with his co stars took to street for promoting the film. They went to many towns, attended cinema halls and met with the viewers directly to elicit their opinion and also to entertain them. They got very good response in return and at many place this resulted in traffic jams for hours like at Uma cinema in Darbhanga.
The film is gradually receiving womenfolk support and it shows the Bhojpuri industry is on its way to recovery from down slide.
