Not wanting to be a second something Bhojpuri star Ritika wants to establish her own identity. Coming from a business family of Mathura she was born in Mumbai and always wanted to join films which she ultimately did despite her father’s objections. She was though supported by her mother. Ritika started her career with “Bhaiya Ke Sasurari Me” a Bhojpuri film by Rajkumar Pandey. She was a co-star in the second lead but soon got an opportunity to become a lead star in “Aag” by Ramashankar. She is also doing “Lazza” by him and says the story of the film revolves aroun her character. Shooting of “Aag” has been completed and will be released next month. A fan of Bollywood actress Kajol Ritika wants to do all types of roles. She would love to work under directors like Aslam Shekh and Jagdish Sharma. Rajkumar Pandey has once said about Ritika that she will someday overshadow all others.
