For Parag Patil Bhojpuri is his workland while Maharastra is motherland

It is a matter of pride that directors and producers from other languages too are coming to join the Bhojpuri film industry. One such name is of Parag Patil who hails from Maharashtra and has directed many Hindi and Marathi films and tv serials and now has become very busy in Bhojpuri films. His first Bhojpuri film was ‘Fauzi’ starring Rani Chatterjee and Shivam Tiwari. But before that Parag Patil had directed a TV serial ‘Captain Kishori Lal’ on “Magic TV”. Parag had choosen Shivam Tiwari to be the lead actor in the serial. And Shivam liked his work and then offered Parag to direct his first Bhojpuri film “Fauzi”.

Famous singer Udit Narayan was very impressed with Parag’s direction of Fauzi and decided to present that film under his banner ‘U.D.Movies’. Film ‘Fauzi’ did very good business in Bihar, UP, and Mumbai film territories.

Parag has now completed the film “Maidan-E-Jung” produced by Abhay Singh. This film starrs Viraj Bhatt, Priya Sharma, Pallavi Singh, Sanjay Verma and Deepak Bhatia. REcently another film ‘Darr’ under his direction had its music muhurt. This film too is produced by Abhay Singh with music by Chhote Baba and lyrics by Rajesh Mishra and Ashok Sinha. Parag Patil is also going to direct “Jai Bajarnag Bali’ produced by Munna Singh. These two films will have their shootings during November Dcember this year.
