Trade pundits and viewers compare this pair of Alok Kumar-Nirahua with the successful Bollywood pairs of Manmohan Desai-Amitabh Bachchan, Pahlaj Nihalani-Govinda, Subhash Ghai-JackyShroff, Aditya Chopra-Shahrukh Khan etc. It is said that producer Alok Kumar and star Nirahua have better understanding of the Bhojpuria likes and dislikes and this is the reason that whenever a film of this pair comes it is presumed successful in advance.
